can 3 SSLs be used in place of one UCC?
GoDaddy is charging $13 for a standard SSL certificate and $89 for a multi name UCC cert. If my exchange install needs SSL certs for 3 FQDNs ( mydomain.com, mail.mydomain.com and autodiscover.mydomain.com ), can I save money by using 3 standard
SSLs instead of 1 UCC?
thanks

Do yourself a big favor and get the SAN certificate. Much easier to manage.

Short answer is no. All needed namespaces are part of the same Default Website (different virutal directories). You can only bind one certificate per Web Site in IIS. You can get away with only two names in your cert: webmail. and autodiscover.
If you do this, you will have to change your internal URLs to point to the same namespaces as your external URLs, but create an internal DNS zone for the external namespace that resolves to the internal IP. Tim Harrington - Catapult Systems - http://HowDoUC.blogspot.com

The real problem is the difficulty when using host headers with SSL.
