building server exchange 2010
Just started at a new job doing IT support. I've been asked to research the requirments and possible costs for Exchange server2010. we currently dont have a exchange server and we will be building it from scratch. We have 50 users and a large budget. any info would be of great help, thanks.

I can't comment on the specific licensing cost (you will need to get with your licesing vendor for actual costs), but here is info on the Exchange licenses. You will need both Server and User licesnes: http://www.microsoft.com/exchange/en-us/licensing-exchange-server-email.aspx Exchange Supportability Matrix: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff728623.aspx Deployment Assistant: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/exdeploy2010/default.aspx#Index Pre-reqs: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb691354.aspx System Requirements: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa996719.aspxTim Harrington | MVP: Exchange | MCITP: EMA 2007/2010, MCITP: Server 2008, MCTS: OCS | Blog: http://HowDoUC.blogspot.com | Twitter: @twharrington
