boot up only internet explorer
I wonder, I have read that a computer is made so, that it can boot up in seconds and only opens internet explorer and nothing else, its useful if you want to get to internet fast...I want to know what registry files i have to change and how to change that it work, one security option must be made after this, you can logon with your account but you cant save anything into computer. I have to do that with public computers in school.

You can restrict all programs, except internet explorer by local security policy, but this wont speed your computer up, it will simply restrict what a user can access. Perhaps youd be interested in a thin cliennt that uses a published app, like IE? Do you use terminal services or Cirtix?

Hi, For IE issue, please post it on the Operating System forum but not Exchange server: http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/default.mspx Thanks Allen
