blocked incoming emails
We have an SBS2008 server with Exchange 2007. We recently started seeing "all" incoming emails being blocked messages. We can manually release /forward them by deleting the true blocked emails but this isn't what we want. We don't have anyone who truly knows Exchange 2007 so I thought I'd ask here. Don't know where to look to solve this.

What reason are they being blocked? Being blocked by what? Where are you releasing them from? It may well be that one of your antispam filters has gone wrong, particularly if you are using blacklists, but without knowing exactly where this block and release is taking place, it is hard to make further suggestions. It should also be pointed out that Exchange doesn't block email on a default configuration, so it would have been set when the server was configured. Hi, As you said “all” incoming email being blocked, did you mean the emails stuck in the queue or just some user report that incoming email stuck in the outlook? Check your message queue and find the email which is stuck, check the “last error“ and you can find some information. By the way, You may check your anti-spam settings and read the reference : http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa996604.aspx
