After upgrading to Windows 10, I am having issues with attaching files to my gmail. When clicking the paperclip icon to choose a file, the program seems to freeze up for a few minutes. It appears to be searching but there is no indication of that.  Cannot click it again to continue. Must just wait, and it is frustrating! Making me wish I never upgraded!

Is this issue in Outlook or on Gmail web?

If it is in Outlook, what is your Outlook version? In addition, does the issue occur to other accounts?

Please run Outlook in Safe Mode to check the result:

Press Win + R, type "outlook.exe /safe" in the blank box, press Enter.

In safe mode Outlook will not load 3rd-party add-ins, check if the issue is related in safe mode. If no, disable the suspicious add-ins to verify which one caused the issue.
