Hi all, If we need to change exchange forest name, is there a downtime involved with exchange 2003 SP2? how about exchnage 2007 SP2? How should I change it if ther is no downtime? Thank you.

Hi, It is not supported in Exchange 2007 or 2010, I have personal experience in 2007 trying to rename and it doesn't work. I wouldn't do that, instead I would plan for a migration to a new domain Even if it maybe works to rename the domain, it's unsupported and means that if you have any trouble you can't receive the necessary help.
