admin logging on to a users mailbox
as an administrator of a exchange 2003 system - we could log onto a users mailbox via OWA. we now have exchange 2007 and cannot do this anymore. Will I need to modify permissions for this? thanks..

Hi, There are specific deny permissions set for administrative accounts - these must be changed if you must gain access to user mailboxes. search for get-mailboxpermissions and set-mailboxpermissions in the help file. Leif

thanks for the info - I was trying to access another users mailbox by: https://mailserver/owa/user/inbox but it still directs me to the owa login screen. In exchange 2003 - you would log right into the users mailbox. what would be the proper way to access the other mailboxes? thanks..

Hi, That url is not available in exchange 2007 - you logon to your own mailbox and then in the top right corner you can select to open another mailbox. Leif
