add to global address list SBS 2003
Our company is using Small Business Server 2003, but I can't figure out how to utilize the global address list properly. I don't have any trouble accessing it from outlook or our mobile devices, but how do I add new entries into it or import them from a users contacts. Currently our contact information is spread out into each users private contact list. While I can share these, I really want to combine all of them into the global address list, but can't figure out how to even add a single entry manually, much less import a whole set of contacts. Am I just missing something obvious?

You must create contacts in active directory and give the contacts an email address using the exchange tasks in Active Directory Users and Computers (this will automatically show up in the GAL) If you want to copy contacts from outlook there is no real easy way but you can do it with a script http://www.msexchange.org/articles/Migrating-Contacts-Distribution-Lists-Outlook-Active-Directory.html Deli
