In Exchange 2007 can I add a distribution list to a Public Folder Calendar? I need to give rights to a specific calendar and there are several users. I'd like to only have to enter this once instead of 40+ times. Is there a way?

No, you can not use Distribution Groups to give permission on Public Folder Calendar. Thats right, we need to mail-enable the groups at first. And yes, PFDavAdmin is a very easy tool for granting permissions on public folder. Notes: I found an additional impact if we add DG into the calendar, which is that the add task will cause the DG to convert automatically into a Security Group. So, please follow Amits suggestions

Yes, that's true James...Suggestion is to use security group but in case, there isn't any other options and we have to use DL somehow in thatcircumstance,we may need to follow the way given in below KB to stop automatic conversation. Thanks everyone! I used Amit's first suggestion to make suremy Distribution Groups were Mail-enabled Security Groups. As I had several DG's within DG's I made sure to make them all Mail-enabled Security Groups, after that the users that needed to see a specific calendar were able to!
