a way to test to make sure distro groups are actually getting emails?

I run Exchange 2010 server, I am looking for a way that I can test on a weekly basis to make sure that all of the users in a specific distribution list are actually getting the email. Had some users say sometimes they dont. We have several dozen distro groups. Any help would be well received!!

Thanks in advance

Hi ,

The email which ever we dropped to the distribution list will get delivered to all the members unless we do an manual block on that DL or else on it's DL members.

In few cases some of the members on the DL would not receive the email where their mailboxes may be  running without space to receive new emails.

You can use the message tracking commands on exchange to find out to whom the emails are getting f

You can send test email to the group and request delivery receipt. This is a simple manual way.

If you need to automate it, you can write a script using EWS to send the test email and monitor the delivery receipt. Use Windows Task Scheduler to run it on a weekly basis.
