a req privilege not held by client
I would like to set the computer time using a command line "time" command. I am the only administrator of a vista computer. No other user is on this computer. But this command gives "a required privilege not held by client" message. Under local security policy I have given this user "act as part of os" privilege. "change system time" is also explicityl given to this user even though administrators were already given this privilege. Any help would be appreciated. thanks

Have you tried to run the command line as administrator. You can do this by selecting the icon you use to open the command line and then clicking with the right mouse button and select run as administrator. It sounds stupid but sometimes this helps. Johan
