Your password couldn't be changed. Make sure the old password you typed is correct and that the new password meets the minimum security requirements.
Hi Every One, One of my users could not changed his password in OWA. It gives the above mentioned error though we have provided the complexity password. I also modified the domain security policy i.e minimum password age to 0 days. Any help would be appreciated whole heartly. Regards, Ram. Ramakrishna

Hi, Sorry for the late reply. Yes, I do tried with the other users and they were able to change password normally. Note: This user name is renamed and the deleted mailbox is reconnected to this user. When I try to reset the password in owa, under Domain\username section it is showing old user name instead of the renamed name. Does renaming or reconnecting makes any changes to the account? Thanks, Ram.Ramakrishna

It's related to the username being changed, I can reproduce the issue. I'd be inclined to think it's the IIS token caching that's displaying the old username, wait for it to flush or run IISReset if you can on your CAS servers. The token should flush in 15 mins but I"ve from users it taken much longer to flush. Hi Sriram, I restart IIS but the same problem I am having. Ofcourse I can create a new account and connect mailbox to that. But I wish to know the reason behind this problem. I welcome further suggestions. Ram.Ramakrishna
