Hello all. Wasn't sure whether to post this here or under DNS (as I don't know what the issue is). Apologies if this is the incorrect forum. My emails to one specific email address keep bouncing back with the below. Is the problem at my end of theirs? And what should I do? Like I say, it's only to this one person. Thanks in advance. did not reach the following recipient(s): mail@recipient.com on Tue, 7 Jun 2011 12:27:39 +0100 You do not have permission to send to this recipient. seems like a DNS issue is terms on your PTR record for your mail system. If you manage your external DNS, check and confirm you PTR record is setup correctly and points to the correct mail server. Should point to the sending mail IP leaving your OrgSukh

Hi, From the description of error, there should be issue of reverse DNS resolution. Valid PTR record is the source SMTP server’s IP address on the public DNS server. So PTR record should point to your external (outbound mail IP). Hope this helps.
