Xp Task scheduler and password
I have only one acct on my XP SP2 machine, administrator. No password. Now I'm trying to use XP scheduler and it continually asks for a password. When I leave it blank, it accepts the task but it never runs, with the statement "task did not run because no password was entered" Any ideas how to set up a scheduled task when you don't have a passworded account? Thanks

Hello, It seems that you asked a Windows XP question which may not driectly relate totheExchange issue. if i have misunderstanding, please feel free to correct me. Here is the answer according to my research, it is a by designed, we do have to create a password for the account. Otherwise, we cannot create the Schedule Task.
