Before I get to the login screen of my XP Pro machine, an error box titled "lsass.exe - Unable to Locate Component" with the message "This application has failed to start because OLEAUT32.dll was not found"pops up. Then an error box titled "services.exe - Unable to locate component" with the same message pops up. When I log in, an error box titled "Userinit.exe - unable to locate component" pops up. I booted from the XP disk andwent to the Recovery Console and tried to copy OLEAUT32.dll from the the i386 folder of the disk to the c:\windows\system32 folder and it says "The system cannot find the file specified". I know the file is in the i386 directory of the XP disk because I executed a "dir" command from within the i386 directory and located it. Man, I would be totally grateful if I could get some assistance with this.
