Wrong settings in Exchange proxy settings in Outlook for Outlook Anywhere after moving mailbox
Hi, after moving one mailbox from 2010 SP3 to 2013 CU1 the Outlook for that user has a wrong config in Exchange proxy settings. My external url for Outlook Anywhere in 2013 is set to mail.domain.tld but in the Exchange proxy settings Outlook is now configured to: https://servername02.domain.tld and msstd:servername02.domain.tld when I overwrite this manually and restart Outlook it's reconfigured to the settings above. Did I miss something? Thank you Carsten

Hi, That is by design. Outlook will display the Internal Hostname for Outlook Anywhere in the proxy settings. If you have split-dns configured you can change the InternalHostname to be the same as the ExternalHostname. See: Outlook Exchange Proxy Settings dialog box always displays the internal host name as the Proxy server in an Exchange Server 2013 environmentMartina Miskovic
