We are using office 365 (2013 pro plus) in our organisation. Some options in word are controlled by group policy using the admx templates. When i try and set the option 'Capitalize the first letter of sentences' it only stays set for as long as word is open. if i close word and open it again the setting has been un-checked. is there a way to make the setting stick?
As I mentioned we are controlling some word options via group policy, but not these options. Why would the proofing option not stay set? I can see this option in the policy editor, it shows as 'Not configured'. I do not want to set it there as different users have different preferences.
Can anybody tell me how to get the option to stay set for one user?
I orignally posted this in the office forum here - http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/office_2013_release-word/word-2013-proofing-option-capitalize-the-first/9a428d62-204d-46ee-be86-5261465125a6
but was asked to move the question to technet.
