Word 2010 envelope type ignored
I am printing to a KonicaMinolta Bizhub C364 with envelopeCom10 in the manual bypass tray. It is also set to envelope type paper because plain paper settings cause them to wrinkle. The print driver reflects all these settings and types, but Word 2010 ignores
the paper type and sends the print job as "plain paper" I then have to force the MFP to print with the correct settings manually at the control panel. Up until two days ago everything worked seamlessly. What happened to word this week?

This does not help. I can print the envelope, but Word wants to use 'plain paper' type paper instead of the type paper the printer and driver properties specify. In other words, Word defaults to the correct size envelope, but the wrong paper type.

Hi,
According to the support article kb904805, this issue occurs because the Page Setup settings that you specify in your Word document override the settings that you specify in the printer driver properties.
To work around this issue, do not specify the paper size, page orientation, or page margins in the printer driver properties. Instead, specify these settings in your Word document. If there are multiple sections in your document, you must specify the settings
for each section of the document.
For detail steps about how to specify these settings, please refer to the following support article:

Thank you for your response. I have read the article, and I'll try it, but I'm pretty sure Word 2010 does not support paper "types" for envelopes other than plain.
