Word 2010 Opening a Template - problem

Hello to you all,

I've installed Windows Word 2010 on several computers (+100), for this company we have a network share folder where all the templates are stored. All computers have access to that share. On 98% of all the computers it works fine. When I open the software we use and then generate from there a new document based on a template it opens word, opens a new document based on my template file and insert all the data that i need from our database, so there is everything alright; except on 2 machines, The is no error message but Word opens suddenly 3 documents, two called document 1 and one called document 2. I've got this problem just on 2 pc's, all the others haven't got this problem. Does anybody have an explanation for this strange behavior? All settings are the same on all computers, and still on these 2 they won't do what we need it to do. I've tried many solutions, even repair Word, deleted Word and reinstalled it, but nothing works. The system of the computers are the same, even updates won't help this issue.

Anybody?

Many thanks and kind regards.

I found the solution,

the problem was the 64bit version of Office on just 3 computers (wrong roll-out I guess), after the installation of the 32 bit version of Word 2010 everything works again, with all my templates. So if you don't need files bigger then 2 Gb just keep working on the 32 bit versions of Office!
