Word 2007 - Using Building Blocks to Store References
I've been toying with building blocks for other things and it occurred to me that it might be useful to store document titles/numbers as building blocks in my template for users to fill in the "references" section with.  The problem is that I would eventually be listing thousands of titles.  I think this would work just fine for a user who needs to cite another of our documents in a new one based on the template, but I wonder if (a) this is the best/easiest way (b) if Word 2007 will behave itself if I add so many building blocks.

Word will be happy with many thousands of building blocks. You will need to be able to remember their names/categories, though!

You may need a reference table for the building blocks!
