Windows needs to be activated, windows is already activated
When i Start My Computer i get a massage that says "This copy of windows needs to be activated to run" i click yes and i get "windows is already activated" and it logs off. If i could get my XP disc into the drive i could probably reinstall it, the problem is that there is a disc in the drive and i can't login to eject it. i can get to the command prompt, is there anyway i can manually eject the disc from the drive via Command prompt? any advice is greatly appreciated

hi,http://www.technize.com/2008/07/11/four-ways-to-inserteject-cd-rom-tray-in-windows/and also you can eject cd from cd-rom by filling the little hole over it by pushing with pin...and a note for you : this is an exchange forum, your post is not about Exchange server...regards,Mumin CICEK | Exchange - MVP | www.cozumpark.com | www.mumincicek.com

Agree with Mumin,But i don't think windows has any feature who locks the CD/DVD in the disk like unix/linux does? we don't have to eject the CD/DVD from the windows operating system unless there is some issue with the drive? You can try by filling the little hole over it by pushing with pin as suggested by Mumin.Arun Kumar | MCSE - 2K3 + Messaging | ITIL-F V3

This forum is for exchange related issues. For questions about Windows Client OS please use the Windows XP SP3 Forum which would be the more relevant forums for this question
