Windows installer starts with Outlook 2010

Hello

I'm working with a someone running Windows 7. Every time he opens Outlook 2010 he gets the Windows Installer coming up with the message "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable". It's trying to find a .msi file for Genifax which doesn't exist and doesn't need to be installed. Is there a way to get it to stop trying?

Hi,

Try to repair the installation of Office from Control Panel -> Programs and Features, check the result again.You can also try the Tool OffCAT to find the possible issues in the Office installation, which may be helpful to determine the cause as well:

Thanks for the tips. The repair didn't work but I will try OffCAT and see if that helps.

I found a fix!

There is a Microsoft Fixit tool that was able to resolve the issue which can be found at the following address:
