Windows Server 2008 Global Catalog in Exchange 2007 Settings
Recently replaced 2 of 3 DC's with Win 2008, one remaining 2003 DC because of this problem. In our Exchange 2007 server properties it only list the remaining DC and GC (Win 2k3) as the only available server being used by exchange on the system settings tab. Any reason why it can't use Windows 2008 as an available DC and GC?

Hi 1. Please update your exchange 2007 to last version sp3. 2. Please run dcdiag to test connection. You can read this blog. 3. Run nslookup: can you get target server ip from nslookup. 4. Restart Microsoft Exchange Active Directory Topology Service Terence Yu TechNet Community Support

Hi, Try to run this Command setup /PrepareLegacyExchangePermissions: <FQDN of domain you want to prepare>Regards Sushantgharpure
