Windows Server 2003 SP2 issue on Exchnage 2003
Hi, I have 5 Exchange servers in my organisation, all 4 servers are of similar make and 1 is HP DL 580. I recently installed windows server 2003 SP2 on exchage servers. all exchange servers are working but except one HP DL 580. only DL 580 exchange server start giving problem like user's outlook disconnection. Users oulook started disconnect form exchange server. later I found out that issue is with windows server SP2. So I uninstalled SP2 from exchange server and now its working fine. My question is that I wanted to reinstalled SP2 on exchange server. please suggest me how to go about. any thing do with SP2 or hardware. thanks, Vinay

Hi Vinay, First thing I would ask, did you disable the SNP feature of Windows 2003 SP2? It is by default enabled when you install it and recommended to turn it off. It has many side effects and your outlook clients might be failing on RPC communications with Exchange. Check below article for further detail. Hi Amit, Thanks for your reply. Yes, I had tried that feature also by disabling TCP/IP Chimney. But it didnt work. Then I uninstalled SP2. Thanks,Vinay
