Windows Mobile 6.5 on my HTC Imagio will not connect at all to my server or active sync. Can somebody help me?
Hello I am running Windows Mobile 6.5 on my HTC Imagio and i have checked and doublechecked our Outlook Web Access server name, user name, password. All is correct but my phone will not sync with Activesync wirelessly and it has NEVER work on outlook on my phone even when i hook it up with the USB. I'm running Microsoft Active Sync 4.5. I believe my server is Microsoft Server 2003 and exchange and all this is the 2003 version. I have looked on other forum and checked the settings on it as well. It is set so i can send/recieve through imap, pop3, and all the wireless settings are correct. Also this server is not running SSL or any type of security stuff on it. I don't know if that has anything to do with it. I read on other forums that you need to copy the certificate and whatnot but when you're not running any i don't think that is possible. Am I missing something? Thank you to all who might help me. I sincerely appreciate it, considering Microsoft wanted to charge me $250 on the support phone line to get help. Thanks pwright256

It might be also worthwhile to note that after i put in all my info and set up activesync on my phone, it attempts to connect and then throws me this: Microsoft Exchange_____________ Result: Exchange ActiveSync has encountered an error. If this condition persists, please contact your Exchange Administrator. Support Code: 0x80072F7D Hope this helps. Thanks everybody.

Does the phone have the root certificate for the issuing CA installed? If you have a cert installed on the server, does the name in the cert match the name used by the phone to connect to your server? --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP
