Windows 2008 R2 AD Schema and installation of Exchange 2007 SP1 CD on Windows 2008 RTM member server
Hello All Was wondering if I would be running into any problems related to the following:We recently installed Windows 2008 R2 Domain Controllers and our AD Schema is R2 and we currently run Exchange 2003 SP2. We are aware that Exchange 2007 SP1 will not install on Windows 2008 R2 but will install on Windows 2008 RTM. Following Question:1) I was wondering if installing Exchange 2007 SP1 on Windows 2008 RTM in a Windows 2008 R2 Active Directory Schema would work?

Hi,Yes this is supported but you will need to apply rollup 9 after you installed Exchange 2007 SP1. This site has all the info you need:http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee338574(EXCHG.80).aspxRegards,JohanExchange-blog: www.johanveldhuis.nl
