I have a question that might have a simple answer (but eludes me). I havea PC with Windows 2000 that does not respond at allwhen instructed to shut down (e.g., Start - Shut Down; Ctrl-Alt-Del shut down). I have read that the Windows 2000 Resource Kit has a program called shutdown.exe that could help. I am unable to find this in Microsoft Downloads. Is it available on anMicrosoft site? Can someone direct me to a trusted location to obtain a clean, safe copy? Many thanks.
