Windows 10 and Office Starter

I have heard that the upgrade to Windows 10 removes Office Starter is that true?

Hi,

The upgrade does not remove Applications or files. If there will be something removed you will be notified by the upgrade process.

Remember you are responsible for upgrading so if you do lose apps everyone will tell you that you were warned. I upgraded my sons pc which had the office 365 client software on it and after the upgrade it was still there!

Unfortunately Office Starter is not compatible with Windows 10.

It seems some users are able to use Office starter in Windows 10. From an upgrade, not clean install.

Some methods are introduced in this thread:
