Will i have any problems after use exch.2003 ADUC to create exchange2007 mailboxes?
We have an exchange 2003 servers co-existing with exch.2007 servers. I'v tried to create with success a user with mailbox on exchange 2007 server by using an exchange 2003 ADUC console - it seems for me more comfortable then using an exchange 2007 one. On the first look such account exists well. So why cant i just continue to use an exch.2003 console to create and manage mailboxes after complete migration to exch.2007? Any caveats?

Hi,
Yes, you need to use EMC/EMS to create/manage Exchange 2007 mailboxes, those MUST NOT be managed by ADU&C because it doesnt stamp some of the mandatory properties of Exchange 2007 and you will see it as a legacy mailbox in EMC.
Or you need to run Set-Mailbox command with ApplyMandatoryProperties switch to apply mandatory properties manually after creating users with ADU&C.
Some of the articles are here for your reference.
