Will Windows Automatic update on Office components Changes the version which Display in Add-Remove Program??
I have installed office professional plus 2013 SP1. I turned on windows automatic updates. On some important automatic updates, the file version of word, excel, power point version are changed to 15.0.47xxxx, But the version in the add-remove program still shows 15.0.45xxxx? is this correct, is this constant? or will it change? pls help clarify.

Hi,

It's the correct behavior. The version number of your Office 2013 in the Programs and Features list indicates the version/service pack level of your Office 2013 suite.

For Office 2013, version number of the original RTM release of Office 2013 is 15.0.4420.1017, version number of Office 2013 Service Pack 1 (SP1) is 15.0.4569.1506 or later.

Regular product updates will not change the version number of your Office 2013 suite in Programs and Features list, they will only affect the build number of specific applications.

Office 2013 isn't included in this page, but it will give you an intuitive idea of the version number of Office suite and individual Office applications:
