Why does the POP-Con. try to download files that exceed the size limit?
Hi!
in the last days our bandwidth usage jumped up to abput 11-12 mb each 5 minutes. After a bit of research we discovered, that the POP3 Connector isn't able to fully download a mail. Hence it tried it every 5 Minutes. We now deleted that mail and everything
works fine again. After looking through the logs we found out, that the POP3 Connector did not dowload that mail because of its size (too large). But one question remains: Why does it try to download the mail
even if it knows, that it is too large? Shouldn't the connector just skip that mail and
not even try to download it? Maybe I even misinterpreted the logs?
Cheers!

There's no POP3 Connector in Exchange. It's part of SBS. You should
ask this question in the SBS forum.
