Why can't I see address, phone number, etc.
I'm scratching my head over this one and I'm not sure this is the right category for this one, but here goes...Within Active Directory there is space for an address, phone number, etc. and they have all duly been filled in by the administrator and yes, we have Exchange 2007 installed. However, when I go into Outlook GAL, regardless of version, the information does not show up.Just what is this country-boy doing wrong? Template to be modified? Cmdlet to be run? Sorry for the noob question, but we were all noobs at one time and this is my time on this product.

Are you able to see in Outlook Web Access or when you configure Outlook in online mode?Default address template have all these fields by default. If you see entries in OWA or in Outlook online mode then it must be Offline Address book issue. Update OAB and FDS and then verify in outlook.Get-OfflineAddressBook | Update-OfflineAddressBookUpdate-FileDistributionService -Identity Server1 -Type "OAB"Reference:How to Update the Offline Address BookAmit Tank | MVP - Exchange | MCITP:EMA MCSA:M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com

I've made a single change in Active Directory, a title change, and carried out your instructions. When the title propagates to my machine I'll mark this as the answer.
