Why can't I reply or send new messages in Exchange?
Hello: I recently my home machine to Vista. I am connected to our office server via Remote Web Workplace. The office server is using Small Business Server 2003. I can successfully log-on and see all of my email messages. I can delete them and do everything I could before in XP....EXCEPT reply to them or send a new message. Every time I open the reply window or new-message window, the new window successfully opens up, includng the address bars at the top which are correctly filled out, etc. However, in the space where I would type my message, it is an unclickable grayed-out space with a red X in it (the same icon that shows when there is an image that did not load. Why is this? Why can't I reply or send new messages? Before I upgraded to Vista, I was able to do this successfully....it was using Word as my email editing program. Thanks much!

It's going to be related to this article. It does not mention SBS 2003, but it's the same difference. Most likely will take a call to Microsoft to make sure it will not cause any other issues in the SBS server. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/911829/en-us
