Is Microsoft Query going to accept all ANSI based SQL statements?

If not, which type of SQL is Microsoft Query based upon?

Based on my research, I did not find the official document that talk about your question. But I found this article:

Description of the usage of joins in Microsoft Query  

Since JOIN is a new feature of SQL ANSI-92, I think MS query also support it.
