Which server name should I choose forOutlook Anywhere ?
Hi Everyone, At the moment we do have SSL certificate (SAN - Subject Alternative Name) with the subject as follows: autodiscover.domain.com ---> shall I use this for the external or choose new ? exchangeserver-vm1 exchangeserver-vm1.domain.com activesync.domain.com I wonder what do people usually use for their Outlook Anywhere access server name ? Hi Albert, Which version of certificate did you apply? Internal CA or 3rd party certificate? And how did you request it? Usually, if someone wants to request an certificate, mail.domain.com will also be included in the SAN. You can type it into the SubjectName or DomainName parameter. This is for Outlook Anywhere or OWA connection. New-ExchangeCertificate http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa998327(EXCHG.80).aspx When you enable the Outlook Anywhere, the ExternalHostname is it.
