Where to get certificates for Exchange 2013
I have been looking at getting a certificate from here https://www.securepaynet.net/ssl/ssl-certificates.aspx?ci=53341&prog_id=417826 the Multiple Domains UCC - A$59.99 years It does not say for 2013, only 2012 2007. would this certificate work for 2013, I rang them but the guy on the phone did not know. I am assuming it would, does anyone know any different or where to get alternative certificate cheap. Thanks Alan Mosley - ThatsIT Solutions

I would bet those certs would work on E2K13 also, since they are based on standards that E2K13 would likely respect - at risk of deterring or discouraging many companies from migrating. What is your operating system? 2008 or 2008 R2? Or 2012? Since the certificates are stored in various certificate stores (user, computer), compatability with the OS would be as important as compatibility with the app. Once again, although I have not tried using certs with either E2K13 or W2K12, I would literally be stunned if this software was not compatible with existing standards used for PKI, SSL and so forth. I don't know of a cheaper source for certs and have had more than a couple Exchange MVPs recommend that source to me. http://exchangeserverpro.com/exchange-2013-assign-ssl-certificate-to-services You can configure and manage certs from a new GUI in E2K13 but Paul - who should know - does not mention anything about the underlying foundation changing. No mention of big changes in all the sources I could google. This might be useful: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FdKOtRsPfiQ Not sure if the free cert would suit your needs. Please mark as helpful if you find my contribution useful or as an answer if it does answer your question.
