I was playing with some code to create a new user in Active Dirctory and put that user in a specified group. When I checked the users folder inside the Domain, the new user is NOT listed. That user is listed under the specific group however stating it is a user in the domain. Domain.com\Users = NO Domain.com = YES Is there a trick to finding this listing so I can delete it? Even though it doesn't show, it is on my Users report.

Hi, Just try this:If not work please contact post it in AD forum as Sukh mentioned. go to AD Users & Computers, right-click on your Domain | Find | change the Find drop-down to "Custom Search" (you could also change the "IN" drop-down to "Entire Directory" if you have more than 1 domains) | go to Advanced tab | type "(proxyAddresses=smtp:user@domain.com)". This will give you the object - of any type (user, group, contact, public folders... ) - that has that email address. Rowen - I wanted to thank you - part of the problem was that I was experimenting with code calls and not setting up the email - we run AD on our Exchange Server so until I gave them an email account through code, they wouldn't show on the list.
