Where do you set Out of Office AutoReply text language: In Exchange or Outlook?
Hi, What determines what language the subject line of out-of-office is used? A colleague of mine and I just tried emailing the same colleague that we know is out of the office. He received the message in Danish and I received it in English "Out of Office AutoReply". We both use Outlook 2007. Where do you set the language you wish to receive? In your own Outlook client, or on the Exchange server? We use Exchange 2003. Best regards, Jan.

Hi, Please understand that the language of the OOF message is based on the MAPI property PR_MESSAGE_LOCALE_ID of the initial (send-out) message. PR_MESSAGE_LOCALE_ID is derived from the language ID of the mailbox which receives the OOF message. The Exchange store sets the language of the OOF to the System Default Locale of the Exchange Server when PR_MESSAGE_LOCALE_ID is missing at the initial message. To incur this issue, please first check whether the Regional and Language settings is English.ThanksAllen
