Hi

Is it happennig with existing file or creating with new file?(if it is existing, use repair tool).

Please close the outlook and try from  control panel >mail >accounts settings.

If it doesn`t work, I recommend creating new profile(you can keep the current profile).

Otherwise start installation again and choose repair option as last resort. I`ll fix the issue.

Good luck

Hi,

Please also check if the issue persists when the user is running Outlook as administrator, since sometimes the error implies it's permission related.

I have also seen some users resolved the issue by repairing Office from Control Panel -> Programs and Features, you can have a try as well.

The issue has been resolved.

Deleted the User profile from c:\users\XXXXX and  We can open the Registry Editor and navigate to the following registry path to verify it:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList delete the XXXX users from the registry and restart the machine. User can able to add the data files now.

Please let me know the result.
