Hi there

I was asked a question, where by a user received an external email that we think the user did not receive due to the size going beyond our Hub Transport limit.

I wondered what happened to the email, does Exchange just delete it? I know it can send a response, but I assume it just drops the email?

Hi,

Based on my knowledge, this rejected message will return to the sender. Exchange will log this event, you can use Get-MessageTrackingLog to track this message.
