What would be the most efficient way to implement a new mailbox quota plan?
My company has tasked me with designating mailbox quotas by groups. Executives get 1Gb, Managers 500Mb, etc. What would be the most efficient way of putting mailbox quotas in place by group? We currently have no mailbox quotas at this time.

We have 1 exchange server, running Exchange Server 2007 SP1. We're talking about no more than 30 users right now, but I want this to be a permanent plan, so that future users can be assigned a quota according to their department, etc.

Well, I would differentiate executive, managers, normal staff etc to different mailbox databases and apply mailbox quota on database level. However if you couldnt do it due to mess of users on various DBs then you can apply quota based on group membership also, Exchange 2007 is more flexibility due to PowerShell. Also remember that you have to set the quota on new mailboxes you create unless you use the quota on database level.lasse at humandata dot se, http://anewmessagehasarrived.blogspot.com
