What is wrong with MS Support!

I have the easiest question, nothing to hard to interpret, yet 4 departments of Microsoft Support have yet to answer this question and the Partner Network actually managed to disconnect my call 3 times inside of an hour.

Question:

Where can I get a NON CLICK TO RUN copy of Office 2013 Professional?

Not Pro Plus, not trial ware, not "download an image" from the MS Store which is still Click to Run...

I just want old school .iso or .msi full version Office 2013 Professional

What do you do if your system doesn't have internet connection.  There must be a non internet interactive installable somewhere.

Can anyone answer this question?

Hi,

As far as I know, Microsoft has many branches of Support portals, each has their own supporting scope. If the topic is off the scope, the suggestion each team can provide will be limited. The purpose is to let our customers have more dedicated support and the customers need to make sure they consult the right team.

Ragarding your question, as far as I can tell, it's not easy to find a traditional msi download of Office now. Instead, you can try the two options below:

1. Volume licensing. With Volume licensing, you can still get the traditional msi version of Office.

Volume Licensing Service Center

2. If your copy of Office did not come with a disk, depending on the type of Office you purchased, you can order or burn backup copies of Office on the  My Account page.

*Note: Backup copies are not available in the following markets:

Bhutan, Brazil, China, Cocos (Keeling) Islands, Cook Islands, French Southern and Antarctic Lands, Heard Island and McDonald Islands, Iraq, Jan Mayen, Kiribati, Libya, Micronesia, Myanmar, Nauru, Nepal, Niue, Palau, Pitcairn Islands, Saba, Samoa, Sint Eustatius, Timor Leste, Tokelau, Wallis and Futuna.

Ragarding your question, as far as I can tell, it's not easy to find a traditional msi download of Office now. However, you can still use the traditional msi version of Office in some scenarios:

But as far as I know, your version of Office doesn't have a Volume licensing version, so please check the second option.

Thanks for the info however, I have already tried these links and methods and am provided the same type of media which is in essence the Office Click to Run version of Office 2013 Professional. From the volume license site it appears you can only download Office 2013 Pro Plus which leads me to believe that there is NO non click to run version of Office 2013 Professional. Is this correct.

Here is the ultimate need for this version.  It would appear (proven in fact) that Office 2013 Professional in Click to Run format does not provide for Mapi compatibility which some third party applications require.  My client had installed Office 2013 Professional as click to run and the third party mail feature would not work as Outlook 2013 Professional did not meet the Mapi compatibility required. They then downloaded the trial version of Office 2013 Pro Plus (which is not click to run) and the third party mail feature worked since Outlook 2013 Pro Plus supports Mapi in non click to run format.

Can someone then confirm whether Office 2013 Professional is or is not available in NON Click to run format?

It is NOT available in MSI format - it is ONLY available in C2R format.

VL editions are the only editions available in MSI format, and, MSFT have suggested that MSI formats of Office may be discontinued in later releases (perhaps Office2016 etc)

EDIT: perhaps you could try Office365ProPlus? That is also C2R, but if that works, then maybe the issue is not actually C2R? IF it does not work, then it seems the third party mail feature/application will likely require remedia

Office 2013 Pro Plus does work but it also comes as a full version download vs. click to run.

Thank you for the info that Microsoft support from various departments could NOT verify or confirm.
