What is the impact of removing .Net Framework 3.5 SP1 to Exchange 2003 with Windows 2003 SP2?
The server currently have .Net Framework 1.1, 2.0, 3.0. I've read from other sites that older version of .net needs to be uninstall if i need to remove the 3.5 SP1. I would like to have some information from people who have experienced this already. Help will be greatly appreciated http://blogs.msdn.com/b/astebner/archive/2008/08/01/8803442.aspx

Hi, I don't think it will have any impact on the Exchange Server at all. Exchange 2003 uses ASP.Net 1.1, but ask the in IIS Forum.Martina Miskovic

I think you may remove it safely. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/exchangesvrgeneral/thread/a4a6deb7-07c6-45cb-a0e1-fc68b47864d6Fiona Liao TechNet Community Support

Hello Martina_Miskovic and Fiona_Liao, Thanks for the help. I would like to ask if this applies for a standard and clustered set up of exchange.

Hello Martina_Miskovic and Fiona_Liao, Thanks for the help. I would like to ask if this applies for a standard and clustered set up of exchange. Yes, it does. Clustered Exchange 2003 Servers also use ASP.Net 1.1.Martina Miskovic
