What does Outlook do with the files that it blocks access to?
I know that I can change what files are blocked, I'm just wondering if the files are deleted, quarantined somewhere, what? Thanks! Jason Meyer

Hi Jason, Outlook doesn't do anything to these files, except for blocking access to them. They are still stored in the Mailbox.Martina Miskovic

OK, interesting... so is there a good way to access them? Export the item to a .pst file from an admin. console?Jason Meyer

You can change the default attachment security in Outlook if you need to. To get help with that, I suggest that you ask in the forum for Outlook. Outlook Forum http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/outlook/threads Also see: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/829982 Martina Miskovic

Jason Meyer Yes, if you change the default security attachment option in Outlook as described in the KB I posted above you will be able to access the attachment.Martina Miskovic
