Web application Proxy

Currently have published OWA through Web application proxy (Exchange 2013)

Typing in https://webmail.contoso.com/owa which redirects to our mail server for OWA.

question is - if i user types into browser https://webmail.contoso.com

can i redirect this request so that OWA opens?  - currently https://webmail.contoso.com lands at page can't be displayed.

thanks in advance.

I think you can do it. But you have to set it up on the backend server. The server that hosting the OWA.

The IIS that host the site for OWA need to have tool installed or you have to edit the webconf file.

Please se blow sites.

Hi

I am able to successfully redirect internally, the problem is when publishing exchange 2013 through the Web Application Proxy server

If i attempt to publish https://webmail.contoso.com - I get an error informing me that

"The following external URL https://webmail.contoso.com:443/ cannot be used because it conflicts with an external URL of Exchange Web Services published web application that is already configured to use https://webmail.contoso.com:443/EWS/."

The issue seems to be allowing the webproxy server to listen just on webmail.contoso.com

thanks
