Web Email between 2007 and 2003 exchange
Hello, We added a 2007 server along with the other 3 2003 Exchange servers. All works well , except 1 small issue i have with web access. I want all users to access webmail using the same url. At the moment I am doing https://webserver.domain.com/exchange ... This is fine but I am prompted to log twice ....I got a pop up first and then I have the exchange web access login screen on the server the user resides . There is a way to have only one login screen ?? Thanks, Dan

Hi Are you using the CAS server as your "front"? Is the CAS = https://webserver.domain.com/exchange Make sure the authentication on your 2003 servers are accepting windows integrated auth.. I wrote a blog post about this a time ago.. maybe it will help you, have a look http://www.testlabs.se/blog/?p=90Jonas Andersson MCTS: Microsoft Exchange Server 2010, Configuration | MCITP: EMA | MCSE/MCSA Blog: http://www.testlabs.se/blog

Hello, Tried ..with the same result. I enabled Windows auth on the Exch 2003 servers, but with the same results. The IIS Exchange virtual folder on the 2007 Exchange box has the Windows integrated auth enabled the rest are disabled.... Any ideas ?

Hello, Did you put the Exchange 2003 URL on exchange 2007 OWA directory ? You should put exchange 2003 URL to proxy between exchange 2003 and exchange 2007. RegardsChinthaka Shameera | MCITP: EA | MCSE: M | http://howtoexchange.wordpress.com/

Hi Per your description, your exchange 2007 cas server and mailbox server are on same box, right? If so, you access the " https://webserver.domain.com/exchange", if the user's mail box on exchange 2003 server, it the session would be redirect to exchange 2003 server, but not proxied by exchange 2007. As a result, you must entry your credential again. Per my known, if the scenario is the cas server and mailbox server on two box, the cas server would proxy the exchange 2003 mailbox server as a front end server. You dould refer to below link: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb885041(EXCHG.80).aspx Regards! gavin
