I seem to be going round in a never ending spiral of difficulties with my Outlook. The most recent problem is that I can't view anything in my inbox apart from "We didn't find anything to show here". I receive pop up notifications to say that I have received emails and I have sent emails to myself to check I can send/receive, which is fine. I have also reset my views in order to dismiss any filters which might be causing me problems also.

Check the deleted folder and rules. It is possible your emails are being deleted soon as they come.
