WMI ACCESS is not possible
Hi, I am running EX BPA on FE server and get the error below: Cannot connect to the Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) repository on server <BE server>. This could be the result of a network or permissions problem. The tool will not analyze this server. Error: The RPC server is unavailable The account that is running BPA is a domain admin which has permission on WMI in Computer Management. what does "Network problem" means since its not about a permission problem ? Does it require ports to be opened in the firewall. Any Clue ??

Hi, For using EX BPA to analyze remote server not local server, Windows Management Instrumentation Service need be started and also note that port 445 is also required for Message Tracking. My suggestion is you would better to run EXBPA on Backend Server<BE> locally because I think it take times andalso not a simple job to open ports intheenterprise IT environment.
