One of the w3wp.exe processes continues to consume memory until none is left. Initially I added memory, but no mattery how much memory is added all is consumed. This problem started about 2 days ago after I had to manually remove an incomplete Trend Micro AV install. I downloaded SP2 yesterday, but when I tried to apply it there was a failure with the error "Active Directory Schema not up to date.....". Tonight I thought I would run setup /pl on a domain controller and try again. Will SP2 fix this problem and will running setup /pl on a domain controller allow me to continue the upgrade? Jeff James

I would go to SP2 then monitor, however not sure if you need to run /pl if you haven;t got an exch 2003 servers around. If you haven't then just run /ps.Sukh
