W2K DNS
Hi - I had a PDC go down that was configured as my DNS server too. I need to add a DNS server to my Domain. I noticed that there is a feature "Enable Active Dir. Integrated DNS". Is this something that I should do? What machines do I need to add to DNS? After adding a DNS server, will a reboot be required? If there is anything special that you can think of that I need to do - please let me know. Thanks heaps Mark

Your PDC emulator went down I take it? Active directory integrated DNS is nice, but has its pro's and con's. Read up about it here:http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/windows2000serv/reskit/distrib/dsbb_act_zyjb.mspx?mfr=true I'd suggest having at least 2 DNS servers per site for fault tolerance and if its 2003 a reboot is not required (nt4 reboot is)
